It was cool to see a new economic development video from the State of Sonora because it featured Horst Engineering. Both the State of Connecticut (USA) and the State of Sonora (Mexico) have rich manufacturing heritages. Both states are in regions known for their population’s precision manufacturing capabilities and skills. Both Connecticut and Sonora are hubs of activity for the aerospace products industry and the medical devices industry. Connecticut has a well established cluster of precision machining companies and special processes suppliers. Sonora has a similar cluster of companies developing.
Sonora recently produced this video highlighting the unique capabilities of their state. Horst Engineering de Mexico, located in Guaymas, participated in the making of the video. Like Connecticut, Sonora offers customers in aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial industries with supply chain options. Horst Engineering is proud of its dual capability manufacturing capabilities in the United States and Mexico. Sonora is a good place for business, culture, and outdoor activities. I have visited many times and I’ll be returning next month to spend time with our team.
