I traveled to Beantown yesterday for a Board of Advisors meeting at the Appalachian Mountain Club headquarters on Beacon Hill. The heat wave had broken overnight, yielding a perfect spring day. All of those good feelings from my college years in Boston came back as I rode the MBTA, walked through Boston Common, and took photographs in the Public Garden.
